Personal Training for Menopause

Exercising during and after menopause is crucial for maintaining a healthy weight, reducing the chances of osteoporosis, decreasing the risk of diseases such as diabetes and heart disease, helping regulate sleep patterns, improving mood, reducing chances of injury and balancing hormones. However, stepping into a gym for the first time can be daunting. Tian can come to your home or any other location of your choice where you feel most comfortable. All sessions are individually tailored to make you feel your absolute best while using scientifically backed methods and training techniques to improve menopause symptoms. About Tian

Tian is the founder of Librium Menopause Clinic.
 
Originally a Pilates Instructor, Personal Trainer and life enthusiast, her number one goal in life is to help make people happy, healthy and encourage sustainable lifestyles. 
 
When Tian was age 18 to 24, she went through a rough period of poor health, including a Foot Injury, Ulcerative Colitis, Cancer and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. However, those six years gave her time to reflect and realise that her health and wellbeing must become a priority. As a result, her whole outlook on life changed, and she now works from a place of passion and positivity.
 
Holistic practices played a massive part in Tian's recovery, and she now devotes her time to developing systems to help share this support and knowledge with others. 
 
Having been a Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer in London and Hertfordshire for the last eight years, Tian has had many clients go through the menopause. At first, she didn't fully understand the impact this could have on their lives, but the more she researched and began to introduce these clients to other holistic therapies, the more she realised what a powerful effect this could have on the quality of their lives. So she set about finding the best practitioners in their field, knowing her clients and herself could trust them and began creating a platform to share and positively impact even more people's lives.  

What Tian Does

I tailor all sessions with you in mind. So whether you see me for wellness coaching, personal training, pilates or injury rehab and management, my goal is to make you feel the best you possibly can. 

 

My personal training and pilates coaching approach is broken down into three stages. First, we create a programme to fit your goals and interests. For example, maybe you hate cardio but love dancing. In this case, we would make dancing the focus of your training. The second stage is to check your posture, form and technique, and clear any niggly aches and pains before moving to stage three. This third stage focuses on working towards your goals and increasing your fitness level from the solid foundations we created in stage two. 

 

If at any point, we need to include any other professionals in your fitness programme, such as a physio, I will work closely with them to accelerate your recovery. 

 

We can document improvements and changes throughout your training programme with pictures, videos and/or recording exercise intensity week on week.

 

Together we will work towards your goals and help you become the best version of yourself.
